Maybe the stadium can be part of the floo network
March 7, 2008 |
What happens when you build a fancy new stadium in a crappy part of the town, provide virtually no parking spaces, and all the while your Metro system is, shall we say, less than efficient? Sweet, sweet chaos.
In an exclusive interview, Metro Spokesperson Steven Taubenkibel reportedly told a source with no knowledge of the situation that Metro “definitely, but possibly maybe” will not be able to handle the increase in rush hour volume on the Green Line, and that fans should not attempt to drive or take Metro to Nationals Park. Instead, according to sources with no knowledge of the situation, Metro is encouraging fans to “purchase hang gliders” and “fly their way in”
Words fail me. Sometimes I am completely awed by the complete ineptitude that is the hallmark of this area of the country.
What the hell are people supposed to do? Maybe we should all attend night classes at Hogwarts and learn to how to apparate in and out of the stadium.
I can’t wait to attend games at the new stadium. Seriously, it’s got to be a helluva lot better than the craphole that was and is RFK. But don’t ask me how I am supposed to get there.
