The Humane Society has decided to endorse Barack Obama, and as a means of illustrating their endorsement, they juxtaposed these two pictures.
Cute.
I wonder if they have any pictures of ole Barry eating at McDonald’s, because unless he’s a vegetarian, Barack Obama is really morally no different than Palin. That’s one of the things I’ve never understood about anti-hunting people. All of the meat that we eat has to have been killed, so why does the person who actually got their hands bloody carry more disapprobation than the person who receives the final benefit?
Anyway, as gosh darn adorable it is to see Barry holding a puppy, this is the image that matters more to me.
I was really tempted to juxtapose this with another image, but decorum prevailed.
This reminds me of one of the best cartoons I ever saw. It showed a woman sitting in an abortion clinic. There was a caption that showed what the baby inside her was thinking. It said, “I wish I were a whale.”
Congrats, humane society. You’ve shown that you have more concern about moose than unborn children. Not that I really had any doubts on the matter.

What a prissy little bitch in the top photo.
And the dog he’s holding is a little froo-froo for my tastes, as well.
Vote Barack! He loves puppies!
There’s no decorum on their side – for the next weeks, it should be no quarter from this side as well.
So how does a politician come by posing for a pic while holding a pup in front of the Lincoln Memorial? Is it his dog? Is the pic a Photoshop special? Was it taken specifically for this ad? I wonder who has more animals, both now and in their lifetime. I wonder if Obama ever killed an animal, whether that be fishing, hunting, or yelling at his wife to hurry up and kill that spider.
On the other hand, Palin bagged a caribou and that’s well and good as far as it goes, but was she able to haul it back to camp and field dress it herself? Now that would be extra-impressive.
Re: the cartoon. I remember one from the 80’s where the Republican said to the Democrat regarding the death penalty, “Just think of it as postnatal abortion.” A thought that has a new meaning given what we know now about partial birth abortion and the infanticide that the BAIPA addressed.
That Obama pic has to be a photo shop. I mean, if for no other reason than the Lincoln Memorial is never that clear of tourists.
