That had to be the funniest ten minutes in the history of television. MSNBC’s big three of Olbermann, Maddow, and Mathews (who looked like he was really enjoying doing the show from a bar) were discussing what the Democrats had to do, and they all managed to come to the conclusion that the only way for the Democrats to survive was to do whatever they needed to do to pass health care reform. Like Howard Dean earlier in the evening, they states that the cause of the Democrat woes has been their unwillingness to do anything too radical and the slow pace of change. Chris Mathews gave an impassioned talk that elicited cheers not only from the drunkards behind him, but from me as well. God bless ‘em, I really hope the Democrats follow that strategy.
