Maybe it’s a sign of age, fatigue, or weariness, but I have difficulty mustering any outrage of this race-baiting silliness coming from the NAACP, nor the looming Democrat campaign to portray the right as, yup, a bunch of racist Neanderthals. Dave in Texas’s take is basically spot on:
Still, if we have to hear “racism” 37 times a day, repeated by every water-carrying (and bone-weary of it) member of the MFM as if new Jim Crow laws make up some 88 pages buried in the financial reform piece of crap we’re fixing to eat, then I smell desperation. And fear.
The NAACP ceased being a serious interest group dedicated to meaningfully fighting for civil rights long ago. The organization, like Jesse Jackson, should be treated as nothing more than a joke. They are no longer relevant to the political discourse, and this sort of wild flailing about does little more than prove that is just another left-wing advocacy group. There’s no shame in that necessarily. There are plenty of right-wing organizations – it’s just that most of them have the intellectual honesty to admit what they are.
I suppose the NAACP can regain some of its legitimacy if it were to re-dedicate itself to combating prejudice and racism where it really exists. At least President Obama has outlined a potential target for them: al-Qaeda.

The NAACP gives race hustling a bad name. They are a bought and paid for auxilliary of the liberal wing of the Democrat party and nothing more.
